STRATEGIC
ROADMAP
Tracking our journey from unit integration to community leadership. Each milestone represents a collective victory for the veteran community.
Phase 01
SYSTEM_READY
// CompletedEstablish the core DNA of Pivot_Point. This phase focuses on building the infrastructure and logic required to support the veteran experience.
01 // Discord Architecture
Deploying gaming and hobby servers to create a more relaxed environment than the clinical feel of traditional support. We want "community" to feel first and foremost like a place to connect, not just a resource hub.
02 // Web & Resource DB
Architecting a searchable, veteran-specific database for emergency assistance and transition tools.
03 // Programs Logic
Defining the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Connect, Support, and Peer Resilience pillars.
Phase 02
Fiscal_Integration
// Current_TaskSecuring the legal and financial framework necessary to support the project.
01 // Fiscal Sponsorship
Partnering with an established 501(c)(3) to allow for tax-deductible donations and federal grant applications.
02 // Compliance & Audit
Setting up a budget and financial reporting system to ensure 100% transparency in resource allocation.
03 // Branding & Messaging
Polishing the Pivot_Point presence to attract institutional partners, sponsors and apply for grants.
Phase 03
CLINICAL INTEGRATION & FIELD OPS
Moving beyond the digital wireframes to establish physical presence and clinical safety nets. This phase ensures that while the front end remains hobby-centric, the back end is fully equipped for crisis intervention and professional transition.
01 // Clinical Liaison Recruitment
Partnering with a licensed Social Worker (LCSW) to implement standardized PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire) screenings. This allows us to identify "at-risk" veterans within our hobby groups and provide an immediate, professional assessment without breaking the peer-to-peer vibe.
02 // Strategic Handoff Network
Establishing direct lines of communication with local VA locations and Vet Centers. The goal is a Zero-Friction transition: if a veteran needs clinical help, we wont just give them a phone number; we facilitate a direct introduction to a known partner.
03 // Field Ops
Deploying the first wave of physical meetups. This includes local gaming nights, and social events designed to foster in-person connections while maintaining the casual, peer-led atmosphere that defines Pivot_Point.
Phase 04
FULL SPECTRUM SUPPORT & COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
The final phase transforms Pivot_Point from a support network into a comprehensive Transition Engine. This is where we provide assistance to veterans in their environment and launch them into their next stage in life.
01 // Capital Activation
Finalizing the pursuit of federal funding to provide direct emergency assistance. This serves as buffer for veterans in financial crisis and allows us to help stabilize them.
02 // Professional Networking & Workshops
Deploying in-person workshops and work with local businesses to create a veteran-friendly hiring pipeline. This includes resume workshops, interview prep, and direct introductions to companies committed to hiring veterans.
Advocacy & Legal Logistics
Assisting with Discharge Upgrades, navigating the VA, and providing advocacy for veterans facing legal challenges. This is the deep support layer that ensures veterans have access to the resources they need to fully reintegrate into civilian life.
Foundation Pillars
Our mission is built on four non-negotiable pillars designed to support the full spectrum of the veteran transition experience.
CONNECT
Find veterans who feel isolated and need a sense of community by leveraging modern engagement tactics. We utilize gaming lobbies, Discord servers, and social events centered around trending hobbies to build organic connections.
SUPPORT
Close the "knowledge gap" by connecting veterans to existing local and federal resources. We stabilize veterans by providing assistance with emergency needs, including food, rent, and bill support, ensuring they are secure before a crisis occurs.
Peer Resilience
Veteran support networks, no one operates alone in the dark. We want Veterans to feel empowered to reach out to their peers for support, advice, and camaraderie. By fostering a culture of peer resilience, we create a safety net that encourages veterans to lean on each other during challenging times.
TRANSITION
Foster a lasting sense of community where veterans feel more confident with life outside the military. By reinforcing social connectedness, we ensure veterans are not just "serviced," but are integrated into a peer network that understands their journey.
